I just couldn't do it...but it got me to thinking about WHY I declined it.

First off, I understand that it has many highly regarded games such as SMG, No More Heroes, LoZ: TP, Paper Mario, Metroid 3, etc. so I asked myself "How many of these games would I actually PLAY?" knowing that I'm still catching up on my 360 titles (that I KNOW I want to play) and others from the last gen that I haven't gotten around to as well.

The answer...1. I haven't been into platformers for years, so that ruled out SMG and Paper Mario. And I never got into the Zelda or Metroid series. That leaves No More Heroes as the only Wii game that I think I'd play.

So I couldn't justify spending $250 on the console plus $50 for NMH. I figure that I'll be using that $300 throughout the year on 5 new 360 games out of the many that I've been keeping my eye on...GTA4, Too Human, Ninja Gaiden 2, Fallout 3, Prototype, Mercenaries 2, Fable 2, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, etc.

I'm also not one to buy it to resell it. Frankly, right now I don't have the time.

Overall, I guess the Wii just isn't for me...at least not yet.  Undecided

I agree. I'd like to get a wii for the gimmick value, but I couldn't see myself spending a full afternoon or evening on one of those games.

Is it still so hard to get a wii in the USA? I don't think there are any problems here.

SMASH BROS. BRAWL

The only reason to get a Wii...and it's a damn good one.

That should be the tagline on the box.

I have probably seen 3 or 4 in the last year since I got mine, and they were all at Target at the same time Smiley Yeah, they are still hard to get. They are regularly listed for $300 new on Craigslist here in the Twin Cities.
