One of my friends showed me this site a few days ago. Basically you go there and you enter either a band name or a song name. It doesn't search for the band or song itself but instead it searches for music that is similar (though you usually get one or two songs from the band you put in). It's pretty cool if you're looking for some new bands.
for example I did a search for Flogging Molly and it brought up a few bands I never heard of like The Young Dubliners and The Pogues it also brought up a couple that I did know like Dropkick Murphys and The Real Mckenzies.

You like these Irish bands? The Pogues & the Dubliners are awesome
As I was a-walkin round Kilgary Mountain
I met Colonel Pepper and his money he was countin',
I rattled me pistols and I drew forth me saber,
Sayin' "Stand and deliver, for I am the bold deceiver!"
Musha rig um du rum da, / Whack fol the daddy O,
Whack fol the daddy O, / There's whiskey in the jar.
That's such a cool song

That site is very cool. I recently did a search for Peter Gabriel era Genesis and while it made the obvious matches like Yes, Floyd, ELP and Tull - I got tracks from several prog rock bands I was not familiar with.

The Pogues & The Dubliners aren't really a punk group. Their music is like...typical Irish folk or something.

Wasn't talking about them, Flogging Molly, Real Mckenzies, and Dropkick Murphys are punky.
I do enjoy the Pogues and Dubliners though.
