That whole article is totally bizarre.  I guess it's good that the girl came out okay, but if 70% of Ethiopian marriages are forced like that, sooner or later somebody else will just get her.  Rather depressing.

It would have been better if the lions mauled the attackers.

Glad the girl made it out somewhat OK but that sure is one f'ed up marriage system over there.

Yea, if you look really carefully in one part, a crying little ethiopian girl being protected by some lions. That's what really explains all of this: the lions watched the movie and then realized it was their true calling in life to protect girls who didn't want to be married.

I'm so glad I'm not ethiopian.
