What a strange game. A platformer that you play using bongos. Who would have thought that would have happened? As a  very unconventional platformer, I personally find it rather fun to play, and at the same time uses the control scheme to its advantages.

I have yet to play it. Is it absolutely necessary to use the bongos to play, or is that Donkey Konga? I know you can use the bongos for both, but I remember hearing that one didn't require them.

I know Donkley Konga could use the regular controller and the bongos...

How long was this game?
I would only expect it to be a few hours.
I pretty much completely forgot asbout it.

Jungle Beat was awesome. It wasn't like the Donkey Kong Country games and don't expect the game to be long. This game went back to the basics and provided a farily easy game that was relatively short. However, the emphasis was on scores to obtain medals, and obtaining some of the medals is just downright insane.

Very fun game. And you can use the controller but it isn't as fun.

This is one of my favorite GameCube games. It's a bit gimmicky in principle, but it's so much fun you won't even notice. It plays out like a classic side-scroller in a way, but the bongos are what make it unique. Really challenging at times, and always really, really fun. A must own.

You can use the controller for DKJB.  You do have to limit your time playing, though.  I try to limit myself to no more than 2 levels at a time.  If you don't limit yourself your hands will be killing you!!  Than you can't play for days!

I've never played this game, either, but given the responses here I'll have to give it a try sometime Wink

Just wondering has everyone who has played this game also rated it?
It doesn't seem so... Wink

I haven't noticed the game around here in stores.
Maybe i have been overlooking it or maybe it is actually sold out.

Wasn't there a version sold with and another without bongos?

I bet I've rated it. In fact, you can find my sentiments on the game here.

The game was sold both separately and with bongos. I personally already owned Donkey Konga; therefore, I bought the game separately with my tax refund check. I  can not complain with the investment.

I had already read your thoughts on it Smiley

I only saw 3 votes and thought more people had said it was good.
But just now remembered Leon had a throw away post again Wink
