WIth cell phone advancements progressing like they are, could handheld systems be in trouble as far as being a viable platform? Something to think about.

Maybe.  I'm sure someday it will get to that level, with miniaturization and all that.  But I think for the short future people don't like devices that can do everything.  They like devices that do one thing and do one thing well.  Camera videogame telephones are mediocre at everything they do.  I'm all for a separate cellphone that works well, a good camera, and a gameboy for the time being.

FYI, I downloaded this game a few months ago on my girlfriend's cellphone, and it's okay.  I think I got to the second level or something.  It's really not all that great.

I can't play cell phone games. I tried playing Crash Bandicoot on someones cell and couldn't do it. the controls were just too small.

I'm sure I'll pick up a few along the way for the collection. but for gamrplay I'll stick with my SP, DS and the rest.

You need to try the w600i by Sony Ericsson.

Horizontial gaming.  2 dedicated gaming buttons, and an 8 directional pad.  Not to mention it has a 1.3 MP camera.

It's getting better.  Trust me......Seeing the new products we have lined up....It'll make the mobile industry awesome.

Maybe a handheld with a build in phone.  The problem I see with the other we around is that when you will be able to get a 500 mhz processer on a cell phone, you will most likey be able to get a 3 ghz  in a handheld
