Good Gaming News Sites

I stopped going to IGN long ago, because the ads are beyond ridiculous there.  I just can't stand that site, which is a shame considering how much content they have.  So, what are some good gaming news sites?  I've mostly relied on magazines (since I'm not all that interested in new releases), but that's not woking too well anymore.  Gamesarefun.com seems to be a good resource, and they don't have a billion ads like so many other sites, but they seem kind of small.  It's always good to have some backup places to get news from, too.
