Was there anyway with MegaCD that games from other regions could be played on it?
Like an Action Replay type device

The CDX is a cartridge that goes into the Mega Drive slot to get around the region lockout on the Mega CD but they're quite hard to find and go for a lot on ebay when they come up every now and then. (£30-50)
I think there were also some chips that could be swapped on the Mega CD PCB to make them region free but I have no idea where to get them.

It maybe easier just get systems from each region. That's what I'd likely do in the long run anyway with collecting them. Thanks folks
