Was this game a pack in with the Super Game Boy? Or did it have a regular release? Here is a scan of the manual.

Here is the game.

VGR also has the game in their database with a picture but alas it is just a blown up copy of the one on this page.

Thanks

I have a couple different Super Game Boys so i was thinking there might have been another version out there.

Thanks for the link Anthony. I saw that game on ebay but wasn't sure it that was it. Maybe this isn't the manual for the game but a supplement for the Super Game Boy.

To my knowledge there was never a pack in game with the Super Gameboy.  That is very odd that it mentions it on the cover of the manual though.

Well i searched it based on the part number on the manual itself.

If that had been in a Super Gameboy bundle i would have found that one way or another.(Or i should have...)

I think i have a manual that has supergameboy written across it as well(for some reason Donkey Kong stands out in my mind but that means nothing in all reality...). I can't be sure though as they are all very very far away...

THANKS! Same one listed before. I figured it was just an insert of the SGB.

Looking at the box contents I assume the "Super Gameboy Instruction Booklet" would be instructions on how to use it with a Super Gameboy. Maybe it has special features when it's used in the Super Gameboy, like a choice of borders or choosing your own colours for the different types of enemies.

Certain games like Galaga/Galaxian, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders were enhanced when played using the Super Game Boy, thus the inclusion of the instruction manual as pictured. Galaga/Galaxian was not packaged with the Super Game Boy, nor was any other game.
