My 3DO FZ-1 has recently arrived in the mail. There is one switch attached to the back you plug in. No other plugs/cords came with it. What other cords do I need to get it to work?

Assuming you mean the power cord came with it.  There is a connector for a nes rf switch on the back as well.  If you don't have one I believe the fz-1's also had standard rca hook-up's on the back.

Yes - it has the standard RCA hook-ups.
