I wish I didn't have to make a topic solely to remind some board members of what you all agreed to when you signed up for an account at this site. 99% of you have never broken this agreement and 99% never will. However, this is a second reminder to all what the rules are here. I don't want to be anal about this and I really don't want to have to ban anyone. Hell, I don't even really like the need for rules, but they are necessary because some don't always think before they post.
I implore you all to follow the rules, which are mostly just plain common sense and courtesy to your fellow board members. It will be a lot better of an experience for all of us. If you don't like the rules, then I'm sorry if you don't want to stay, but nobody is forcing you to be here.
I shouldn't have to post this, and for most of you, I don't have to. This is a fair and blatant reminder to the 1% of you I might have to worry about.
You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not be hateful, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law. These things are not humorous. This forum has an excellent personal messaging system built in. Please send all personal messages to individual users with this option. All personal messages posted in main board forums will be locked, and we reserve the right to delete them without warning. However, no personal messages will be read by moderators or administrators (with the exception of those directed towards them), so we encourage you to use this board feature as often or as little as you need to.
Finally periodically you may recieve site annoucements via email. These announcements are not spam, and should be read in their entirety. In addition, the board will email you whenever you recieve a new PM. Let me stress that neither of these emails are intended to be spam, and you may choose to opt out of these annoucements through your profile settings.
If you cannot follow these rules, YOU WILL BE BANNED. We're pretty easy-going here, so be reasonable and this won't be a problem. It'll be a lot better for all of us that way.
