Can someone tell me about how long it takes to set up a paypal account. I had my mom set up an account yesterday and today i won on this item. The guy takes paypal and money orders.

this is my first time using ebay so could someone tell my wich would be a better option for know and how long it would take to set up an account with paypal (i heard it takes a long time)

It doesn't take too long.  After you go to paypal and get your account set up, Paypal will deposit to small amounts of money into your account within 2-3 buisness days.  Once you find out how much the deposits are, you go back onto Paypal and enter in the deposit amounts and your account will be all set up.  If you let the seller know that you are just setting up your Paypal account, he probably won't mind waiting a few days for his payment.  Unless he is a dick.

Don't get discouraged and never take it personally when the seller proves to be short on character. You'll get that sometimes, just like you get rain some days.

there are just alot of small problems that add up. the account is my moms so i cant get in and out of it freely, the guy didnt get in contact with me first (is he supposed to???), i had to tell him not to send any info to the email listed but to send it to my email address and i dont really know what im doing... correction i have no clue what im doing.
i guess i just have to learn as i go something i dont like to do with my money involved.

The transaction would probably go alot smoother if you contacted him first and let him know of any special requests that you have.  I know I hate it when I sell something and have to ask every question known to man.
