I have had a copy of dragon force for ages and I always thought it didn't work on my pal console (with action replay) because it's scratched. It's not scratched badly, just some surface stuff, but it was the only reason I could think of.

I tried to play the game in an emulator a moment ago and it works perfectly fine. Does that mean it's the fault of my saturn that it didn't work, or can my pc dvd player read the disc better so the scratches won't matter?

I want to sell/trade this game, so I first must be sure that it works properly.

Try it on another Saturn.
It may be that yours if more finiky(sp?)

Something similair hapened to my little brother with FF8 on his PSOne but they tried it on the stores PSOne and it ran fine thru the same place.

I have heard of this happeneing with other CD systems but that is the only 100% true example i have.

Yeah, that's a pretty good idea. It happens with some dreamcast games too, I've heard. Unfortunately I don't personaly know anyone with a sega saturn.

Have you had any problems playing other NTSC games on your Saturn?

Only with Panzer Dragoon Azel, which is known not to be playable with import adapters.
