Supposedly the car he hit stood still, or nearly still. And bumpers aren't that hard. And he's a bouncy young fellow

That is amazing if true. Wonder if he will ever try to hit someone with a door again.

Can you imagine what could have happened to that kid if he had hit him.
(Assuming that is what he was trying to do, it sure as hell looked like it)

well, he would have fallen off his bike. That's not nearly as bad as smashing your head against a car.
