I've been playing the PC version of The Evil Within now that I have a gaming rig. It's really poorly optimized but I turned it down to 900p and finally got it to stay well above 30FPS for the most part with everything on High. Not bad for a GPU I paid $110 for.

did you try lowering anti-aliasing (AA)? i find that has as much or more effect on performance than resolution.

AA in TWE does all of jack and doesn't affect performance at all(I'm almost convinced it's a either a dummy setting or something ludicrously small like .5xAA.)

Also, I posted in the wrong thread XD.

Got this stuff from Half price books, the game in the lower left hand corner is Garfield: Caught in the Act which I already have so it's available, looking for NES games!

That is a good price for the Mario game. Been looking for a cheap copy of Bowser's Inside Story myself lately, love the Mario RPGs. Nice grabs everyone!

Once again, it was a day of yard sales and thrift shops for me, and here are the results:

That's a 25 cent, working Playstation, and it's the fourth one I have had in my possession overall.  It is going to my niece, who used to spend hours playing games with me on my original that I've had since 2001.

Except for the Jampack, these came from a reseller that's a regular at the community sales that my city holds approximately every three months, all lower than eBay prices.  The Castlevania and Super C were 15 dollars apiece, the Deadly Towers was 4 bucks, and the Final Fantasy III was 35 dollars.  I'm especially happy with finally finding a local copy of Final Fantasy III for less than 50 bucks, and in really good condition.  Also happy to finally scratch Super C and Castlevania off of my "NES Most Wanted" list.  The Deadly Towers... well... I really don't have an excuse for that one.  :'(

Along with the Jampack, I paid a dollar apiece for these, eleven games in total, at another booth at the community sale.  The first seven games in the pics are all complete, and the last four are disc-only, but in near-perfect shape otherwise.  Just like with the Deadly Towers, I have no excuses for why I grabbed the 50 Cent: Bulletproof, and can only beg for forgiveness.  Tongue

The Leapster Explorer was four dollars at a local thrift store, the second Leapster product I've found for cheap in the past couple of months.  It works just fine, and its only problem is a missing stylus.  Even without any physical software to use, they've been good in helping my soon-to-be 5 year old nephew learn more about reading and math.

The PS1 games were all a buck apiece, and came from the same thrift store as the Leapster.  The Centipede PC game came from Goodwill, and was $1.50 due to a "All Media Half-Off" sale today.

The controllers were also separate finds, the green XBox controller coming from yet another vendor at the community sale for 50 cents, and the Sega 6-Button controller coming from the same thrift store as the Leapster.  Both work perfectly.

The Logitech Driving Force steering wheel is for PS2, and is missing the original AC adapter, but it does work just fine.  It came from yet another local thrift store.

Finally, there were actually 2 community sales, with one being in the morning and one starting late in the afternoon.  The last 3 pics are items that came from the afternoon sales, all being a dollar or less.  The toys were particularly cheap, being 4 for 25 cents, and the Transformers-themed DS case basically being free.  There is also a loose copy of Iron Man 2 for DS that came in the case for Brain Age that I forgot to take out when I took the pics.   Undecided

A little while back I posted my haul of Nintendo games I picked up.  Over 450+ nes Games CIB.   Well,  I finally got around to adding it all into my inventory on this wonderful website and I made a Youtube video of it.  You can check it out here.  Also a big follow up game haul from the same seller.

So the same seller who sold me the lot of 450+ games came out the woodworks and messaged me about another lot.  He wanted to offer me first dibs so the games had a opportunity to go side by side with the rest of the games I picked up from him.  The lot was kinda pricy but it is nice.  TMNT Manhatten Project is one of my all time favorite nes games and having a CIB copy of it is just fantastic.  Smiley
