Yea, I wish we could do some kind of mail order trade in thing. That would be awesome!

HEY NOW!

I finally managed to snag a World of Nintendo WARIO action figure at the local Tar-Jay earlier today.

This bad boy was so short-packed-- even more so than Link-- I'd all but given up hope of even seeing one at retail, let alone buying it. But I decided to check out the toy section on the way to the B2G1 video game specials, just in case. Needless to say, I'm glad I did.

Now you're wondering if I freed Wario from his package. Weird thing is, I didn't have to; dude's so freakin' badass, he busted himself out.

Besides, only Justin Bieber fans and aspiring serial killers keep their action figures packaged. And you KNOW who you are, you degenerates!

Fortunately, Wario seems to be adjusting well to his spot on the shelf:

And as you can see, he's being his usual douchy self. Yeah, just go right ahead and taunt poor derpy-Knuckles while Silver has him in a trance, you insensitive lout. Wait 'til he finds out about you and Rouge's plan to swipe the master emerald...

I stopped in my my local Wal-Mart and grabbed a couple Star Wars Black 3 3/4:

Zag's comment about packaged toys amused me. Especially, after getting this guy in the mail:

Reissue Masterpiece Optimus Prime MP-10. Forever encased in his Carboni--plastic prison.

I did open Vector Sigma though:

Zag, I got a similar situation on my shelfs. This is actually your fault for sending these toys to me.

YOU... SICK... DEPRAVED... SON OF A--

*AHEM*

Bad enough you keep your other figures imprisoned. But OPTIMUS PRIME?! That's taking it WAY too far! You're worse than Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot combined! Oh, so you're amused, are you? Well, you won't be so amused when you die and go to straight to hell for this unforgivable sin, where Satan has personally constructed a tenth circle for you to suffer in for all eternity! It's just for you.... just for you. No one else can burn forever in the tenth circle... NO ONE ELSE.

Hey, speaking of which:

Um... you might want to consider getting a new banana runt candy for Silver to hold. The one he's got looks a bit pale... and likely VERY stale. I'm gonna ask Santa to throw a fresh box of runts into your Christmas stocking this year. And that last sentence sounded kinda wrong, didn't it?

Uh... I have these: (They weren't on display like this though.)

This Sonic statue thing was a bubble bath container.  His head is the lid.
My Dad found it in (empty) a charity shop and bought it for me earlier this year. I can't be bothered to measure it, but it's actually quite tall.

Saw Toys R Us lowered the price of the MMPR Legacy Figures to $12.99 so I splurged and picked up Lord Zedd. I also picked up the comic turtles TMNT with the comics included. I already had Tiger Claw and Robotic Foot Soldier so I have every current main run TMNT in the package, until the next wave.

Actually no, I really only set out to collect the basic assortment playmates figures. The revoltech figures ARE AWESOME, but I just don't have that kind of disposable income (or maybe I do but I buy too much other shit!)  leo

Ain't that the story of all our lives?  Tongue

Anyway, I picked up this thing at a thrift store:

Despite being almost 20 years old, it looks almost brand new, though the batteries are long dead so trying it no longer works.

Playing with that Knuckles toy is one of my earliest memories.  I even remember the Mickey D's I got it from. Dissipated long ago. :,(

Another figure I won't open, until I get a second one, just because they are as rare as platinum around my parts:

Hasbro really messed up by releasing the very cool and hot; Han Solo and Boba Fett, in the same wave as dull peg-warmers; Greedo and Slave Leia. The end result is all local stores around me, refuse to restock with current wave figures, due to over-saturation of store shelves with Greedo and Leia. Whenever any local stores put out the wave that had the Stormtrooper, it's usually only one assortment. Meaning one Stormtrooper. Been looking on ebay lately. Might buy a lot of 4 and be done with it.

THE A-10 THUNDERBOLT!!!

Except for the stand and canopy, this bad boy is FULL F*CKING METAL, including the ordnance hanging off the wings!

SUCK IT, KIM JONG DOUCHE!

Got a KO Masterpiece Smokescreen in the mail from China today:

First thing I noticed about the KO, is the box color seems to be more dull than a legit one.

I basically bought a KO to check out the quality and make further decisions to buy more KO's based on my review. For under $40 each, I think I will buy more of these guys.
