Since everyone else is doing it.....

The Perl has problems. Apparently he thought that the best way to end it all would be to take his life at the gorge. Luckily, we talked him out of it, but he came pretty close to his demise.

That place looks awesome!  Indiana has a lot of state parks like that, but I haven't been to one in years.  Probably because my family hasn't gone to one in years.  I just turned 18 last August, so I'm still living under the same roof (and rules) of the parental units, but luckily my parents are pretty cool and I don't have to worry too much about that stuff.

@ Eddie
My mom also loves your waterfall and said it was beautiful.

Nice pics guys.
I'll have to get up there sometime, maybe during the fall.  I bet that place would look pretty sweet with the leaves all different colors.

Anyways, wanna see what I was doing while you went up there?

That whole area of Ohio is really nice.  Yellow Springs is a town worth visiting, which is four miles away from Clifton and much larger.  There is a woman from Peru who runs a shop there selling Peruvian crafts.  She's a really nice lady, and I can verify that her merchandise is high quality stuff.  The Little Miami bike trail also runs through Yellow Springs and all the way down to the Ohio River and of course Cincinnati.  I haven't ridden the entire trail yet, but the sections I have done (maybe fifty or sixty miles of it) are beautiful.  It's easy riding since the trail is on a former railroad path, and it's pretty because it runs along most of the length of the Little Miami River, which may be a National Scenic River.  I can't remember that for sure.

Cool shots, Jay.  I did a ghetto panorama sans Panosaurus and just hand-holding in auto exposure mode.  If I had been smart, I would have added about three more exposures to this series, but I didn't.  This was at the game last night, which they actually won.  (Yes, really.)

This one was from last Friday night.  For those from out of town, it is a view of downtown Cincinnati, with the lights on way too freaking bright at Great American Ballpark (home of the Reds).  I believe that night was the same one in which they were losing 10-0 in the top of the first inning.  Hooray for the world's first professional baseball team.

We'll have to repeat the Mt. Adams shots on a night when the Reds are out of town.  Perhaps even from a better location than illegaly parked on a dead end side street and trespassing on someone's property.  ;-)  The parking lot of the Celestial restaurant is a great place, especially if you can get the required shots in under 10 minutes or so.  Also, there is a great place to get shots in Newport, which you would prolly like.
