This past weekend, Eddie (St0rm), Dave (TraderJake), and our friend Tim (not registered!!!!!) went up to Clifton Gorge State Preserve.  A few of you may remember me posting a few pictures of this place when I went there about a year ago, but I have some more for ya.  It was a fun thing to do on a day off, instead of just sitting around.  If you're ever in the area, check the place out.  Just ask if you need details on the park's location.  It's the kind of place that seems way too cool to be in the state of Ohio; I suspect the 269 acres the park is on are actually territory of Colorado or Tennessee.

Take a look at some of these photos.  I may post more later since I have to run soon.  Eddie or Dave might also post some if they feel like it.

This first one is of some sweet Canadian geese.

Here is a view of the pool where the geese in the previous photo were shot (with a big gun, not a camera - PSYCHE!).  This was a panorama of about four shots stitched together and made into a wallpaper.  Damn the sky for not being blue and me for being to lazy to PhotoShop it to being blue.

Click the attachment link at the top of this post to get the 1280x1024 version (not resized to the window).

This is a photo of the gorge higher up the river from where the previous two photos were taken.  The river has some pretty decent rapids and the cliffs around it are steep and tall.  Unfortunately you can't really take photos from the bottom of the gorge, and looking down on anything in a photo usually makes it look smaller than it really is.

Another view of the creek as a wallpaper.  This one was originally about eight or ten photos I think.  Again, click the attachment link to get the full 1280x1024 version (not resized to the screen).

The sun still sucks and so do white skies.

This building is outside the Clifton Mill.  I have been trying for about five years to get a photo of it without a stupid SUV or minivan in front of it and finally did.  Hooray.
