Wow some of those shots are pretty surreal.

The one with the  flags is cool because they got ghosted.

The flags near the Wrigley Building are like that because that is a stitch of 4 seperate photos.  It wasn't possible to fit the entire building into one shot from that angle.

And yes, Chicago is a very surreal place, especially if it is your first visit.  It's amazing how tall some of these buildings are.  If you have never been, I highly recommend it.   Chicago is actually more impressive than NYC in terms of skyscrapers, many more tall ones in Chicago.

Very cool pictures from both of you.  I wish the trip could have been earlier in the summer so I could have gone.  It has been a while since I have been to Chicago.  Looks much cooler than I remember it being.

OK, well while I'm at it I'll give this one a shot.

I tried taking some 3-D pictures up there by simply taking almost 2 of the exact same pictures, just a foot or two apart.  If you have done the magic eye stuff before, you will know how to look at the picture.  Just stare behind the picture until both pictures come together and form a 3d image.

I can post more if this one works.

But you are an admin, you can upload it to the site and avoid said limit.

Too small to really see anything 3D in it. Plus, when you do a 3D picture the pictures have to be completely level.

They don't have to be level to the ground, just level to each other.  In both pictures the water is a little higher on the left, but both of them are like that so it evens out.

Also since the water changes from picture to picture, it kind of looks a little weird, but there's not much you can do about that.

....And I have successfully killed this thread Smiley
