One of the best teachers i have ever had, Mr. Brainerd, got fired last year with a bunch of other teachers. Luckily he had to get hired back because they ended up being short a Health teacher.

Another great teacher they are trying to can is Mr. O who ran the Italy trip this year.
Since him and the head of the language department don't get along she has been consistantly trying to get him booted.
Since i have been at Cathedral we have had at least one new language teacher a year.
Because none of them can deal with the head of the department. Except Mr. O who is on military leave again.


Sounds like Hairy Pooter's school. Look out for them dark wizards!

So yesterday afternoon, I had some of our lovely 7th grade boys pull an A/C control head off the wall and beat it to hell with a baseball bat. Luckily 2 students turned them in otherwise we would have never caught the little darlings.

The parts are about 350 dollars, and the labor is going to be 40 - 70 dollars. District policy is toi have a police report filed in these situation. The schools principal decided against it Roll Eyes

Problem:

What the hell are you teaching these kids when you let them get away with something like this?

Sure the students will probably serve a 5 day suspension, but seriously? Kids like that probably want to be at home screwing off.

The parents will have to pay for the damages, but I dont think that is going to solve the issue. If it was my kid involved, I would want him to be punished. Hell, If my son does something like this, you had better believe he wont be able to sit down for a month. And he would be grounded for a long....long time!

So, it is 70 degrees and sunny outside in Beautiful Cincinnati. Too bad I am at work, but at least I get off at 5.

Its at least 65 here. Probably around 70
I love it.

In anycase i have to ship out Uri's games now and then rush over to work for 3.

I will get out of work between 5pm and 9pm...
Love that schedual.

That's a joke right?  I refuse to believe that that record would be worth that much.


I was going to spend the day in this nice weather washing my car so I could ride around with the top down after I got off work, but my mom called me up and told me her car got stolen.  So now I gotta go over there and use my "influence" in the automotive field (I'm the fleet manager at work and we have a fleet of just under 200 cars)to get her insurance claim taken care of, and to find out what kind of deal I can get her on a new car.  Oh yeah, I'm doing all of this because she's going to Florida tomorrow morning, and my dad works insane hours.  It's quite fun being the good son.  Tongue
