My name is Alex and I live in Austin, Texas.

I enjoy computers and video games. I like Action/Adventure, Platforming, RPG, and shooter games. My favorite game of all time is Super Metroid. The most engaging and thrilling game ever. I also like the Final Fantasy, Sonic, and Elder Scrolls series. I collect games, go to school etc.

Favorite system is the Sega Genesis. Streets of Rage, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Super Hang-On are great games. I also love the Arcade games, especially Galaga.

I like this site and plan on being active.

Welcome to RFG Alx & cyberfluxor - it is nice to see the love for some of the older systems like the both of you indicated in your post.  Looking forward to your posts in the forum and in the RFG chat (every Monday at 8pm).

Ah, how I love the old classics of the Genesis/MegaDrive. I'll never get tired of those three game you mentioned along with other classics from around that time. The older 16bit games really echo though the ages.

Welcome to the site Alex, hope you enjoy your stay.

Thank you all for the welcomes.

The 16-bit era is probably my favorite gaming era. The games were flat out outstanding and the fieriest console war between Nintendo's SNES and Sega's Genisis. Lots of classics that helped to shape the future of gaming. I never get tired of those games I mentioned and plenty of others from that era.

Nice to see someone from Texas who likes classics.

Hi, I dont think I have posted in here yet.  Im gorez, I live in Birmingham, Alabama --soon I will be moving to Austin, Texas most likely, because that is where my girlfriend currently resides.  I found this website quite awhile ago, probably 1-2 years ago through seeing it at Digital Press.  But I never really got into the forums of this website just really used it for the game database so I could have a catalog of my games online.  But I plan to stop lurking around and actually start posting.

Such a great website and I feel like I already know most of you just by reading posts and blogs.  I see now everyone can post blogs, so I will probably start mine up beginning of 2008.  See you around!

Welcome.

While I was reading your post 'Sweet Home Alabama' just happen to be on the radio. And Johnny (or Ronnie, not sure which version of the song it was)  sang "Birmingham" right when I read it in your post.  It was quite weird.
