I really hate birthdays.
Spent the whole day wishing I was somewhere else, anywhere else but here.
I'm still here...

Well its about 5min till the end of my birthday.
Anthony never came over after work. I knew he was going to go to this party. Why would he actually want to be here for me on my birthday. I hope he is having a good time with his friends from work. I need to stop lying to myself... It wont make anything better.
Alone on my birthday... Could life get any worse...

Missing your 21st birthday for a party that happens at work often is bad form Anthony.

That's not cool Anthony, you really should see your bird especially on her 21st.

Shannon, if you want a night out, come over to England, I'll get everyone together and we'll go down Manchester, let you have a real 21st birthday. Smiley

Damn computers. The network adaptor cut out again this morning so I reset it. Nothing happened. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. The four LAN lights came on, even though there was one cable plugged in. The damn thing was buggered.

So I went to the other side of town to *ugh* PCWorld where the cheapest router they had was about £60. I went next door to Maplin and they had the same router we currently have but no price. I took it to the till and it scanned at £75. " Shocked No thanks!!!!!" I said. I bought this one in march last year for £45 on Amazon. I know physical shops have more running costs but going on for double the price is extortionate.

I headed home and decided to try my luck with the small local PC repair shop, which my dad suggested before I left the house. Surprise, surprise, they had a Wireless B one for £37. After explaining I needed something cheap just to get on the internet, the manager said he could knock a whole £5 off because it's "getting out of date, anyway"! So I got a router which does the same job as my old one but without the unused Wireless G for £32.

Now I can get onto Amazon to see about a replacement for the old one.

Edit: *Huff* The main reason I needed to get on the internet was to check my bank account. It turns out I've not been paid today. Damnit.

You could have drank when you were 18 in England. (Probably earlier due to the fact you don't really get ID'd over here).

Anyway it can be an open invitation, everybody come over to England and we'll all go down Manchester on the lash.  beer

Unless this invite includes plane tickets I wont be able to come for a long while. But it really is the thought that counts.
