Today I saw the shittiest car I've ever seen this week. It was a Chrysler PT Cruiser convertible. PT Cruisers are bad enough, but a convertible version is even worse.

I agree. They look like complete shit.

It's the local elections today. I'm going to vote for the only people who even bothered to gain my interest. There are three parties in our area - Labour, Conservative, and Liberal Democrats. Other areas have candidates for the Green party and whoever else. Before the elections they do the usual thing of sending representatives around to canvass for our votes. However, all we got was a single leaflet.

It's no wonder the number of voters are falling. I've got no idea who's representing what. There was nothing in the local newspapers, no one came to speak to us, just a small leaflet which didn't say an awful lot.

The current people seem to be doing a good enough job and they're the ones with the leaflet, so I'm voting for them.

Last night a local trade school showed a commercial for their new programs, only problem was, that it was from the 80's.  They showed an office setting and everyone was using typewriters and a couple even had DOS based computers laugh

Got my car back from the shop. Total bill was 380 dollars. Sad

They replaced the alternator, and apparently the cap for the overflow tank was bad.
I guess the overflow tank must have let out enough coolant to cause "smoke" or steam off the front of the engine. I was going to replace the alternator myself, but when Scott took it to checker it tested good.

Apparently, there was an intermittent problem with the voltage regulator which is built into the alternator.
I really hate having to have someone else look at my car, but at least it is up and running now. Smiley

Gas is $3.19 in the Nati, I don't care about the fact that "You're paying for 1987's gas", this is fucking ludicrous with the record profits the oil companies are seeing. I hope the executives have a special place waiting for them in hell.

my teacher recomended me to the "special" teacher.  in other words, I do my homework half-assed and now I have to get help.

at least I learned how to do slope-intercept.

my bday is coming up.  I want to get heroscape, awesome game.  and ultimate quake (the first 3 quake games).  its on the 8th, me and my friends are going to see spiderman on the 11th.

and my grandmas birthday is on the 5th, cinco de mayo.  we might be having a party this weekend, but knowing my family we probably wont know until the day it happens Smiley

Now why did I read that as "It's my 8th"? laugh

Happy birthday in advance. They're not so good once you get to 19.

19 was a rather dull birthday...it's just like "so long carefree days!" and then you go back to work.

In other news the sociology exam I didn't study for and I imagined would be terrible turned out to be an 84. Proving again that no matter how hard I do or do not study I will never get an exam grade that is not in the 82-89 region unless it involves ancient languages.

On my last Calc test, I guessed on more than half the questions (most of it is multiple choice) and I got an 88%. On the tests I actually try, I usually get a 75 or so.

It is probably a bad thing that i was taking pointers from this test on what increases the speed of getting drunk...
And not for customer safety.
