The auction is an improfessional mess and it sounds too good to be true. I didn't see any faults with it though, and his feedback is pretty good. I'd say it's worth the risk.

Yay.

No insurance on it seems to be the biggest problem. It might be one of those people who get games cheaper because they buy them direct too.
But either way im with Arr. YAY

well, insurance is offered for the U.K

if it is not a scam, that's fine

if it is a scam, then insurance makes no odds.

Would you be able to send this item Royal Mail Special Delivery, therefore guaranteeing prompt delivery? If so, bearing in mind that you are already offering free p&p, what rate would you charge for standard Special D. Which currently is £3.75

I just sent that question, the "professionalism" of the answer that I revieve, will decide wether I go for it or not.

I think this might be a better idea than some shady character on eBay:

But Walmart is more expensive and THX is from the UK, so he can't play that version. Also, Walmart is a big and evil corporation. Buying from walmart is buying a place in HELL.

Walmart is like Arr said an evil corporation and it will earn you a spot in hell buy shopping there. Their quality of products is lessened and thats why you save money. But needless to say if you need something cheap and dont care if it is going to last long thats were you go.
(wow did that just leave an opening for alot of sex jokes...)

Wal-Mart is good for one thing, and one thing only: College.

Other than that, Wal-Mart is shit.

How about Amazon UK? Anyone who sells video games online in the UK or elsewhere. My point is that there isn't always recourse against individuals selling on eBay.

I would rather pre-order it from a store.  There is a chance that you could get some freebies out of it.

If you really want to get it before the street date, pre-order it from an indy game store.  If they get the game before the official street date, slip the guy behind the counter a 10 and ask if you can get it early.  That, or just go to a store on the bad side of town that sells games.  Usually those kinds of stores break street dates to get a leg up on the competition in nicer areas.  There is a record store that I go to in the middle of the GHETTO (I had to capitalize it because it is a horrible area) that always breaks the street date for CD's and movies.

Yeah, but then you´d have to pay regular retail price PLUS 10 bucks to get it early.

Yeah, it is more expensive, but if you really want it and want it now you'll do anything.

I noticed the Blockbuster trade-in special is still going on. If we did the scam and racked up some credit, does anyone know if we could use it to preorder?
