I'm not even sure how this would be done, but it woudl be nice to have a percent complete for each system we collect for on our collection pages. I know this is probably a little obsessive, but it's something I've always kept track of by hand.

I'll look into it.  Would this inlcude all variations from all regions?  Also we will be adding country variations in the future, would it include these too?  Then there's hardware, demos, etc...

Probably just the basic set of games would be best. Perhaps a seperate percentage of variations and the like could be included later. It's not really that big of a deal though, so I hope you don't go crazy because of it or anything.

We always welcome suggestions.  At least it's out there now and we can start talking about it and seeing if it's possible.  Thanks for the input!

I think it's good that the database is constantly evolving. It seems like every change definitely makes it better.

Adding a percentage-complete seems easy but I bet it needs days of coding to get it working properly. Tongue

It would be cool just for regular releases. No demos, homebrews or variants.

I had % complete in my Excel spreadsheet when i was working on the Genesis library.

I agree that only the standard library releases should be included, excluding variants, demos, homebrews, etc.

Very cool and unique idea though!

Yeah, my own lists are usually pretty conservative. I would only go with standard releases myself.
