Even without the three picture disc you still have all the games for the system.

True and I've tried to convince myself this before and sell these, but it's the same reason I still have things like "The Animals" for sega CD that I still have these.

I agree with you. I have Animals for the Sega CD as well. i was just pointing out another way for Dreamcaster to look at it.

The duo list gets even longer with the new additions: lords of thunder demo and meteor blaster signature edition.

you going for homebrews and demos?... I was gonna say most of the tough Duo games have been on ebay in the past year. Even recently a Dynastic Hero didn't sell for $275 when it had been going $350-$400 for a while. Most of the tough Duo have poped up in the past year and have been going a bit cheaper than the past few years, and it may be easier than you thought to complete. GL getting a Meteor Blaster DX signature edition though, I don't have that one either, but then again I have no real want or need for a homebrew game with someone elses name in it. If I could still get one with my name , maybe I'd care, but now, I could care less lol.

I actually forgot about the 3rd one myself until I saw your post and was like" Hmmm, I thought I had 3 of these..." I decided to dig up my Duo games today and low and behold I was right. As for finding any of them...I'd say watch ebay...I hardly ever see them pop up , but I'm pretty sure 1 or 2 of them poped up once last year. Don't quote me but I think they went over $200 a piece. I have no idea what you'd expect to pay for them as they don't come up very often and who knows who else is looking for them. The only reason I keep them is cause I have a complete duo collection and technically I have to hold on to these 3 crappy picture discs. I'm 90% sure I saw these for sale in Toy's R Us back in the day(who would have thought girly picture games in a toy store). The other 10% of me says it was Children's Palace. Eitherway, the only reason to have them is for completeness of your collection. They are nothing but a series of grainy pictures. Nothing good, just grainy pics of girls in Bikini's. They even come in those thin cd cases with just a color insert.(there's no back insert or anything) The game disc themselvs have black and white press printing. very low budget. I can't believe these originally retailed at $90-$150.

As for Meteor Blaster DX...It's a homebrew...You don't need it for a complete collection(same with implode)They had a downloadable non dx version. I think for TG-16 emulators. and then about a year ago they released a "signature edition" I think only about 100 copies or something that included your name in the title screen. Both are good games, but not nessassary for a complete US released library.

Now MB DX is not "pressed" like implode, it was released on a CD-r and has problems on a lot of duo's where it won't boot...don't know why, but sadly some systems don't like it...sometimes trying a few times it will boot. It's actually a fun game. Implode isn't bad either. You can find more about these titles from the developers at www.mindrec.com  As for finding Implode, I know for a fact www.tzd.com still has it and for Meteor Blaster DX, I think both mind rec and Good Deal Games still list it. Here's a link to GDG that has it listed at 28.75 http://www.gooddealgames.com/inventory/turbo.html

I'm not sure if Meteor Blaster DX is available at either of these places or if they still have them up...I haven't heard much out of mindrec in a over a year they may be belly up( I'm pretty sure they cleared out their remaining stock when they sold the signature edition) and I know GDG is having personal issues and may not have everything up to date. Eitherway Meteor Blaster DX shouldn't be all that expensive unless it's become very popular lately. $30 or so sounds right, but if it's not available anywhere anymore it might have gone up.

I'll see what I can do about adding some pics to the database, I've been kinda lazy lately. hell it took me a good week or so to even bother to check about the 3rd girly game lol.

Holy shit?!  I see that 2 retailed for $90 and another for $150 and all you get are pictures of chicks in bikinis?  I don't believe they have set that high of a price for pictures!!

yeah its always the dumb stuff that goes for the highest price. its kinda funny with the japanese versions of the us releases for duo and tg-cd games. dynastic hero usa $300+/-  dynastic hero japan $20. there are a few more like that but this was the main one that came to mind. oh and might and magic II: isles of terra for duo: usa $300 japan $15. lol. thats a hell of a price difference.
