I rented it last night.  Haven't played it yet though.  How does everyone like it so far?

When people skip school to play day of release and other kids play it for 7+ hours after school i know i should give it a try. People were like if you have an Xbox buy this game... You have to join us on the Journey.

Kid at school was also heard incoherently saying"Think of the bets game you have ever played ok your thinking of it right ok think of it know multiply that by like 1000 and its still not good enough."
If i can get a copy i will try to play it all weekend.

I did get a copy today. Didnt have to pull any stings there was like 25 copys sitting on a shelf. I played it for about 2.5 hours. It is a really good game overall. But there is some stuff that is kind of a pain to deal with.

I haven't played it, but read the review in EGM, and it sounded like the thing didn't deserve all the hype it got.  What I read (note that I have not played it yet) is that it has too much button-mashing, the side quests are too stupid, the puzzles are too lame, and the game is way too freaking small.  They said something like: it is as "deep as the ocean" but only as "wide as a swimming pool."

My friend beat the main quest in Fable in under 15 hours minus the time he spent screwing around under 12. The ending sounds really dissapointing too. None the less i find the game very enjoyable even with its flaws. Just imagine how much better it could have been if there were none.
I just remembered MK Deception is supposed to have a 15 or 20 hour quest in it. It beat a game thats genre is soley based on that... how sad.

I played it for like an hour earlier this week (for me that's a long time to play a game in one night), so that says something right there.  I thought it was pretty good.  The question is - when will it be played again?  Hopefully this weekend or next week.

On a side note, does anyone else find that pathetic?  I'm a huge gaming fan, I even run my own dedicated site, but I have trouble finding 30 minutes in a week just to play a game (of which I love so much)?  That's like an alcoholic who doesn't drink.

You sure are pathetic indeed.

On a more serious note, is the game actually fun to play for an hour? Most rpg's are only fun when played for longer, since you get so little done in an hour.

I spend hours doing nothing in fable.  I really can say that the main problem with this game is it's way to fucking short.

One of my friends just bought this game, and he said that he was just blown away by it.  I might go and pick this game up since I'm almost done with Silent Hill.

My friends are currently seeing who can beat the game the fastest. They are aiming for 5-6 hours. I am positive they will get it done in around 6 hours. They are just thoughs kinds of people.

That's nuts.  I'll bet you it takes me a lot longer to beat it.  I still haven't played it again, but when I do rest assured it will be for an hour.  At this rate, it will take me over a year to finish it.  That's not bad in my books.

Don't worry you can beat it in one sitting if you play straight through.
