I waited a bit, then I pre-ordered the regular edition. After awhile, when I found out more of the details of the Limited Edition, I decided to pre-order that instead of the regular (the high definition calibration feature clinched it for me).  Legendary Edition was just too pricey for me to justify the cost.

I refuse to buy into Hypo 3. There's been something about the stereotypical Halo player that's really put me off. Possibly their self perceived leetness. And there were all those Halo videos being made a couple of years ago that really weren't funny at all. Like the guy that "fell asleep" while playing and they were all laughing at him. Lame.

Well. I guess I'm the only one that pre-ordered it. I admit that I did wait awhile, though.

After I found out what was in the LE, and playing & enjoying the Beta test, I decided to commit to it.

The other factor is that I'm hosting offline multiplayer with my friends in September, and would like to have it be the first Halo 3 night. Cool

If it turns out to be a good game then maybe I'll pick up a used copy at some point. That means of course it has to be much better than the first two.

If I'm feeling impulsive I may pick up a helmet if I see one on the shelf, that's just a cool piece of gaming swag regardless of the game.

I don't have a 360 so I voted no.  I own Halo but not Halo 2 and I have never played Halo 2.  I'm not sure if I would have pre-ordered it if I did have a 360.  Maybe...
