I was reading an old Nintendo Power mag and noticed a section for NES Super Turrican. I dont see this title in the database or on any lists. Was this ever released? If not, why not, and how did NP end up running an article for it? Any information anyone has would be awesome! Thanks!

Oh and for what its worth hopefully soon I'll have collection pics up.

Nintendo Power had a habit of covering games before release that sometimes would either not be released on time or would in rare ocasions not be released at all.  Anyone who's read the mag for a long time would remember the whole Robin Hood fiasco where they had a huge write up on the game long before it was actualy released.  They'd droped screen shots and write ups for other games in the works that would never even be released.  Robotech, macross, and akira being 3 such titles.

Here is the deal with Super Turrican...

Its an awesome game, but only if you have a PAL setup.  I have it and have tried to play it on my region modded systems but it plays WAY too fast, almost to the point that it is unplayable.  Definitely something worth checking out if you play it on the right hardware.
