He showed and he kicked my ass 10-2 both rounds. We played one on Foundation and the other on Midship...

I dunno what the hell just got into me but went into head to head and decided that the next guy I played was goin down no matter what. I beat the snot out of this dude so bad it wasn't even funny. Decided to try my luck at some FFA. Got thrown into a game with 7's-9's (I'm a 5) and had a hellafied lead till the end. Lost by 3 but damn was it a good game.

Rockets do suck in a head to head match , but you either get them or dont...... If I know I am playing a rocket whore on Beaver then I just PP him and then BR  :beating: tsk (three shot kill)

I know you guys think "Captain Rockets" or Captain Whorage"   But thats not the case ......mostly

As a nOOb, I've heard about the PP + BR combo. What exactly IS it? I'm guessing that you are armed with only the Plasma Pistol and if you connect, you hit "Y" to switch to an equipped Battle Rifle for the finisher??? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

By the way, anyone wanting to play H2, my gamertag is the same, phoenix1967. Please let me know yours; BTW, can I just type them into my friends list???

I'm still working on the PP and BR combo myself.  Some of the big advantages of it is that you can kill from a decent range, it's fast, and you can still throw grenades.

I think i tried that combo once long ago.
I never really went for it. I hate it, but i use to hate the BR itself and i am getting pretty good with that. Just need a bit of practice.

If i ever get stuck in a BR duel on Head to Head though when one of us dies i will go straight for the dual magnums.

And Pheonix i will sen you over a friend request when i get home.

Yes , the Br/Pp combo is the plasma pistol then switch to the Br quickly..... Hit with a head shot and they die instantly

If you plan on being any good when you are a higher level you must learn to switch fast and get head shots.

PP / magnum works the same way.

Having our own tournament would be cool. I suggest Laurel set it up because she rocks at that sort of thing.

I think maybe some 2 on 2 stuff or team stuff would be cool as well.

If we do have a tournament here, I might be able to get one or two of my fr4iends join in too.  They aren't the best at the game, but it would be more bodies.
