I may have to jack that up a bit and give it a try. I know I have trouble wheeling around quick enough to deal with attacks from behind. though there are also times in close combat that I feel like I've turned too quick and lose track of who I'm fighting.

Yeah. I've had the same things happen to me. I hate taking fire and not knowing where to retaliate. And I also hate getting spun around because someone that was in my sights ran by me and then punked me because I couldn't track where they were fast enough. Pisses me off...

I just picked up the Multiplayer Map Pack about a half hour ago. Just finished uploading the scans.

I loaded all the maps and walked through a few. looking forward to playing them.
the bonus content was meh. a new cut scene, a documentary on the guys who did the new maps, some trailers and some goofy surround sound test screen with a couple Covenant guys.

I liked it as well
New maps are pretty good. I really like RELIC because it will make a great big team battle map imo. Also one flag CTF on that map will rock !

I don't know about big team battle. It doesn't seem to be that expansive of a map, Terminal seems better suited.
I do agree that Relic would be great for 1 flag CTF.

I noticed something on Terminal that seems unusual.
One of the spawning points is inside an upper level room above the parking garage (near the sword-end of the train). There are 2 metal grates in the floor. One is covered, the other is open and lets you jump down into the parking structure. Alternatively, you can go out the window exit and walk along the ledge parallel to the train tracks or go out by way of an open area high above the 2 dumpsters.
The strange thing about this room is that it appears that there's no way IN to the room. I even drove a warthog underneath the exit hole in the parking garage and could not jump into this room from the top of the warthog.
Anyone find a way into this room?

I have done it. I pushed one of those big crates over there with the hog and grenade jumped up there. You can only do this if you are host. Maybe you could stand on top of somebody while the crate is there and get up there

Call me confused on this one...why do you have to be the host? What does it allow you to do that it wouldn't allow normally? Move the crate? Pull off the grenade jump? I tried the grenade jump from the dumpster area and couldn't get up there.
I wonder if they created this intending it to just be a spawning point that would discourage camping. It would certainly make a helluva sniper location!

Being the host seems like a default reason for a lot of Halo things now a days/

The host gets a very small advantage.
It just seems lik less of the physics engine applies to them.
Probably because the host is already bearing the brunt of the info taking place.
Atleast that is the case in PC games....
Xbox is really just a specialized PC anyways.
