Cool pictures, is that right near your house? And is that a venomous snake? Shocked

I don't think the toad will be a problem though...snakes can eat huge things.

It's the back porch, right by the door.
It's a Garter snake, which are pretty much harmless.

Pictures of the flooded Des Plains river in Riverside, Illinois, and other stuff...

Pic 1: Proksa Park in Berwyn, Flooded

Some Cool Clouds on the way home right after it stopped raining...

DesPlains

Me TOUCHING (that's right!!) the Des Plains!!!  Cheesy

That is really close to those power lines...  Tongue  Undecided

Wow... Just wow...

Now these next two are really interesting. This 'hill' is the most popular sledding hill in the area. It is a slope of about 15 or so feet, and then it levels off. There is a soccer (football) field where it levels off, and 100 yards to the left is where the river turns. That whole area is under 10 feet of water. And yes, those are regulation size soccer nets.

And the last one, the bridge. This is the coolest bridge ever! My family and I go to it a lot, and the water is a good 7 to 9 feet below it. Before the river crests, the whole bridge will be SUBMERGED!!!

So the other day, me and my friends made a video.  I was playing some GOW.  I walk into the other room, where their editing it, to find this.

Sadly, this sort of thing happens at my house often.

I went camping this last weekend up on the North Shore of Lake Superior. It was gorgeous. I probably took 200 photos. Here are a few of the good ones.

Taken from the top of Carlton Peak - about a 3 mile hike from our campsite.

Carlton Peak, again.

Thanks!

I'm really happy with the camera. It can't do everything I might want it to, but for what it is, it's been great!
