This is mostly going to be geared towards Ani and Chico who are the only 2 people who have said anything about this game.

The battle system is so cool. I am still getting use to it though.

I started playing for about 30-45 minutes earlier but shut it off after i realized my teammates where dying because i was only focusing on killing the baddies.

What is the deal with the titles you get?
When you get the basic skill book do you automatically learn the stuff in it?
How much do your choices effect what happens in the game?

I am sure i will have more questions later but i figured i would leave it at this for now.

You not only have to focus on killing, but blocking until you get a healer in your party. You still have to keep an eye on party member's stats though.

Titles: Some will only change your costume, others will boost certain stats (shown in green) upon level up. Don't worry too too much about titles, right now you need to learn how to block...lol

Skill Book is for your reference. Read it cause it contains helpful info to help you understand better and kick ass in battle. Any time you get anything like that you can read read it!

Your choices (for the most part) will only affect character affection. Saying one thing over another will piss some party members off, while others will like you more for it. There are some scenes throughout the game where you'll have a scene with just the character that likes you best. This could be anyone, depending on your choices.

I thought the skill book might have almost been like in Legend of Legaia where you learned a skill and then chose it from a list of skills you had learned. (Like you can do in this game anyways)  But your saying it is more like combos you will want to memorise?

And i choices will never adversly affect the game like in Skies of Arcadia or Fable where the choices you make actually have an impact on the game. So they are like more like little bonuses. Works for me.

Thanks for the answeres. As i play thru the game i am sure i will be back with some more questions or comments.

No no, the skill book is more like instructions on fighting if you will. I feel that the purpose of it is for folks like you and I that don't RTFM...hehe

Some choices will only affect character affection, others will affect if you partake in a sidequest or not. Only one way to find out!

I was beat by a Hidden or Fake or whatever the hell this game calls the attacking treasure chests.
But anyways are they supposed to be 100 times harder to beat than everything else in the same dungeon(Efreet)?

Leave the Fake and come back later for it. You won't get much of a reward anyway so don't even bother with it really. You can only hurt those with magic and your party isn't magically strong enough yet (least I don't think).

Did you get familiar with turning on and off AI controller party members' techs yet? If you did and Genis has spells that'll do Efreet more harm use only those Wink I'm not talking about forgetting a tech, you can actually turn their useage on and off. RTFM.

I never fought Efreet the angel guy said he would awaken soon.(Should i already have fought him?)
Beat the mimic second try.
I am saved right before the fight with the unnamed girl on the mountain pass.

I already beat her but it was an easy fight and late so i just shut it off because i had saved like 5 minutes before.

I figured as much. But why was it talking about Efreet awakening and i never ended up fighting him?

For being 3 hours into the game the story line seems pretty obvious.
I kinda hope that there is a plot twist.
