Seems like the D-pad on most controllers now is an afterthought, not sure if it will support it or not, but you could make a USB to xbox cable and plug a decent joystick into it.

arcade sticks work wonders.....so do ps2->xbox converter cables.

Just bought the only one on eBay for $30 (Ouch!) Now, I'm going to need a second one.

The idea of using the Saturn pad was just too tempting. The Japanese Saturn/US Model 2 is second best pad ever made (I think I like the original 6-button Genesis pad a little more.)
