I was able to hit up a Video Game Con over the weekend and got to grab some of the Sega games I've been looking for. Even wore my RFGen T-Shirt! Got a lot of good trades in on this stuff too so it didn't cost me an arm and a leg lol.

MOM JEANS SOLIDARITY FTW!
No game scores lately, but I did happen upon this sweet mashup-parody poster from a rather talented Etsy artist:
And not that you care, but I have (almost) all the figs to reenact the poster image:
I don't have a Rumble figure yet, so I had Frenzy stand in for him.

a couple of pick-ups over the weekend. I thought the Operation Wolf in the old school clamshell was cool and I'm planning on leaving it in there. It's dated 1997.

Yeah I thought it was neat. It's from a defunct company called "Games Trader Inc." which looked like it was based out of Ontario and distributed used Nintendo and Sega games to various retailers across the US and Canada. That's about all I could find online. It would have been cool to know what retailers would have carried these.

That's a neat piece, for sure! I've picked up a couple PS2 and Xbox games that were rental copies, with different outer art, as fun variants to keep around, just because of the nostalgia factor of game rentals, but also for the historical significance.

I can't be sure that it's the same company, but I do remember my local Kmart selling used NES games in similar packaging at some point when I was a kid. I think this would have been in the late 90s.

Cool! That would make sense with the package date of 1997. Thanks for the fuzzy memories!
I was able to knock another Genesis heavy hitter off my list yesterday. Also got another boxed accessory in for that sub collection.

Some pick-ups from a flea market over the weekend. Everything was pre-covid prices so it was dirt cheap compared to online prices now. Also I couldn't pass up the VTech Socrates for $1.

It's been a while since I posted pickups. A while back, Hit Walmart clearance for some games, then treated myself to a few B-day presents last month. The triple triad card & DW3 guide came from a collector friend who was cleaning out his garage and found a few totes of cards and guides.

Great Switch pick ups. I still need both of those. And that DWIII guide is sweet!
