They did, but after they wear off, your jaw starts to hurt, then comes that sad realization that because you have raw skin in your mouth, you can barely eat. And I like food. drool Cry

Today it actually didn't hurt that much.

My wisdom teeth never bothered me either, until one day I woke up and my jaw didn't close all the way.  Apparently my wisdom teeth moved enough overnight to prevent my molars from lining up with each other like they had previously.  Luckily my neighbor is an oral surgeon and was able to extract the teeth early the next morning.   It was the day before moving off to college for the first time.  I forgot to bring the pain medication with me...  That was a fun week.

I'm in the same boat, but my molar's have started hurting.  Only a matter of time before I have to go in to have the wisdoms removed.

I've heard quick formats can make hard drives very slightly less reliable than a full format. For the sake of a few hours I'd rather not take the chance. I've only ever formatted one hard drive, roughly one year ago. So I didn't entirely know what I was doing. At the rate it's going it looks like it will finish at 3am.

^Full formats are practically worthless.  The only part of the drive that really needs to be formatted in the file table, which is very, very small compared to the entirety of a 500GB drive.  (This is what happens in a quick format.)  The only advantage I see is making it easier to distinguish between data and garbage if/when the file table becomes corrupt.  (For all I know, it only makes it easier for a human to determine, a program might not have any problem.)   If you are really worried about reliability, you should get two and put them in a RAID1 configuration, this will make t(e hard drive much more reliable.
