I almost fell for it. The starter packs were 40$ at Target this week, but I talked myself out of getting it once I saw that new figures were 10$ a piece.

Through August 10th, Toys R Us is offering the Skylanders Giants starter sets for $30 each, and 2-for-$22 on the Giants-sized Giants figures.

As for separate figures: just wait for 2-for-1 or buy-2-get-1 sales. They should be occurring often over the next few months as retailers clear space for the new SwapForce series.

So only $25 with the coupon that was in the Frito-Lay bags. I wish I had a Toys R Us near me.

If I find them for a good deal and the game I might get into it. There are just other games I would rather play first.
