Yes, Carnivore has been around for quite some, and when it first was revealed that it existed caused quite a stir. I am fairly that in addition to Carnivore there is Eschelon, both of which are designed to spy of civilian communications.

It doesn't really bother me. The FBI still would have to find real evidence to convict someone, one email found by Carnivore wouldn't be enough.

Doesn't bother me since i only get newsletters.
Never the less i do not like it.

It doesn't have to directly affect(or is it effect in this situation?) me in order for me to not like it.
