i am trying to convert mp3 to wavs.  does anyone know a good converter?

I use the one by Softdiv.  It's the best one that I've found.

Are you trying to convert them so you can burn them to CD?

For audio conversion, I always use a program called CD-DA.   I'm too lazy to link to it but you can find it on www.download.com.

Windows Media Player should have a tool that will convert .mp3 to .wav.   If you look hard enough I'm sure you can find something.
