Has anyone else seen this sludge-pile of crap? Apparently, it's the latest craze with pretentious college-age anime fans.

I watched it last night. About fifteen people started watching it. Two people made it through the whole movie.

I've never, ever, EVER seen anything more nonsensical. I tried very hard to figure out what the hell that was, and I still don't have a clue. It was three hours of bad diatribes about...something, intercut with a lot of badly edited action sequences. I can't say anything more than that. I don't know how else to describe it. Even if I said it was a story, I would be using the word story very very loosely. Story about something? Nope. I give up. I won't even try to surmise anything beyond that.

But it has a lot of pretty pictures, which are heavily inspired by the Final Fantasy/anime/drooling fanboy genre. The fanboys are fap fapping all over this thing. It makes me sick.

Every time I see a movie like this I ask myself the same question: How come a bad 90-minute movie is just a bad movie, but a bad 3-hour movie is "art"?
