This is a neat little movie. The story didn't really make much sense, but it was entertaining and the bizzare creatures and campy humor made it a little different.

I honestly thought the movie looked horrible. So I've never had any desire to see it.

Its good. Its a good start for, hopefully, a franchise. Similar to how X-men was good and then X2 was great.
Hell Boy wasnt as great as the comics but it was really well done and Ron Perlman rules.

I can't get past the name. You have a room full of talented writers all thinking up this fanciful tale, and the best name they could come up with is Hellboy?

Hellboy was somebodies comic.
It was a really good movie too.
I dont think they could really make a sequal though at least not one that could follow the events in that one unless if someone gets resurrected.

Hellboy was many stories that dont even involve Nazis or Rasputin.
Also you have to think of HellBoy as more of a homage to old Pulp Action and Horror comics of the Golden and Silver age Sauza. Its not nearly as goofy as it sounds. The comics (Mike Mignola) are some of the best modern comics you can find.

Yeah, I read a couple of Hellboy comics, but it's just the fact that Hellboy is the name that they decided on when the comic has such great writing. Even if it is an homage to years past, it still bothers me.

I saw this last night. I thought it was pretty good. The effects were good, Ron Perlman had some funny dialog and the story was far more entertaining than that awful Hulk movie.

The hulk had cool graphics though. I like when the old guy was morphing around into lightening and stuff. Plus the ending was pretty good.
Hellboy game for PS came out before the movie which i didnt realize until seeing an interview with the people from the movie and its director(?)
