Tomorrow is my grandma's birthday so just now my mom asks me if I want to chip in to buy a present, so I agree and ask what we're getting her. So my mom goes behind a desk in the hall and pulls out a small white box. She hands me the box and I look at it, about to open it up without even reading the box, but then I notice it says "Wii" on it in great big gray letters, I was honestly speechless. My mom tries to tell me it is for my grandma so she has something to do all day, but I was so shocked I honestly wasn't sure if she was just saying that.
Turns out that it is for me! My dad didn't get the shotgun I wanted for my birthday (back in January) and my mom was in Sam's Club the other day and they had a sign saying they had Wii systems, luckily my sister was with her to let her know of the significance of that sign Cheesy

I thought about selling it to make a profit and buy another at a later date, for about a minute. So now I REALLY, REALLY want to try it out, but next week is finals week and I'm swamped with school work right now, so it'll be staying in it's box for the next week.

Even though I knew I shouldn't, I opened the Wii up last night and got it all set up. Damn, I love this thing. So easy to use and everything just comes so naturally. Wii Sports is fun, but I definitely need to get some good games next week, I'm thinking Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart should hold my interest for a while.

I actually stayed up until 2AM playing last night because I completely lost track of time, which I haven't done in a LONG time while playing a game. And I woke up early this morning so I could play.

It's pretty easy to lose track of time while playing the wii. If you have a couple people playing along time passes even quicker.
