i've noticed today that sharing the community playcast front page post on my facebook wall comes up with a really bad thumbnail that says something about the android app. is there any way to change what that thumbnail is? it seems like it would be a site problem and not facebook specifically.

edit: the post looks like this right now:

I think it's just pulling some image from rfgeneration.com. This image happens to be the Google Play logo for the app. I think that you can select the thumbnail when making the post or you can use no image.

Wife says, you need to post an image at least 600 pixels wide in the body of the text on the page it's referencing.

In this case we assume it's this page:  http://www.rfgeneration.c...eration-Playcast-2923.php

She says it would be better if the image was 1200 pixels across and you just re-size it for what you want to display on the blog post.

You can edit that page above and it should fix the problem for any subsequent fb posts.

You guys can use this tool to see how Facebook "sees" a link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Here's a link to that page specifically: https://developers.facebo...eration-Playcast-2923.php

Looks like all the images it sees are the tiny ones in the sidebar. Sad We'd probably need to work on some updates to the blog system to support the og:image type it wants from us.
