This guy built the coolest hole ever.  I've always wanted to have a house that is completely underground tunnels, because basements are cool and the sun is not.  This isn't quite THAT cool, but it's pretty awesome.  Check it:

Ah, that hole. The guy that built it posts on somethingawful.com.  He build a pretty cool hole indeed.  I'd build a hole like that if I wouldn't bump into water after digging 2 feet in the ground.

I'd try it, but I have before.  If you hit the ground with a pick, and the head shatters, you know that the dirt is too hard to try digging into without a backhoe. So I gave up.

there was a guy who bought a defucnt missle silo from the US and it has a huge underground living space that connects to a above ground building it had like 100+ thousand sq. feet living space

Sounds pretty cool.  I hope the military cleaned the place out pretty well, though.  Radioactivity = bad.

I know this guy who had to get a radioactive therapy for his thyroid problem, and they gave him too much. So he had to go live in a cabin in Canada for like, six weeks because he was irradiating.
