Since it is a crime of such great significance it will always be on the watch eventually they will find it unless it gets destroyed. Porbably in another 100 years but they will find it again.
And they call it "closing" the case. Dont know why, maybe its because its a file in a folder.. close it like a book..... anyways.

Yeah, but after 20 years,  it's the thief's, he can't be punished for it anymore. I could steal the neighbours jewelry now, and walk up to them, 20 years and one day from now, and ask them if they want to buy it back, and there's nothing they can do, because I'm the rightful owner after that period of time.

It has nothing to do with the police searching of investigating. It has to do with laws that automatically get in effect.

Does anyone know if thats true over here? Man i think i might go down to the Quadrangle if thats true.(Quadrangle is the museum here)
