I'm trying to install Nero Video and I'm getting a "1603 error" and yes I tried shutting my AVG off.

Try to run the installer this way through command line:

msiexec /i path/to/setup.msi /l*v c:\temp\msi.log

Post the log to Pastebin or something and give me a link so I can see what the log says.

Can you take that and leave me what I need to type in the cmd? I really don't much about command line.

First of all, I'd move it to a folder where the path doesn't have a ` in it. I could see that possibly causing issues. Move the folder to your desktop or something.
