^Huh, Smirnoff makes a Screwdriver? Didn't know that. They make some of the only 'alchoholic' drinks I care for. May have to try that some day.

And Nupoile, you should really slow down there, bud. It's probably unhealthy to have more than one of those at a time. Or, you know, any at all. Cheesy

Here's to hoping an ancient zombie Mayan returns to earth..
And holds a news conference to explain our misguided attempts to understand their calender and eschatology... Wink

All I've got in the fridge is some screwdrivers. Heck, I'll grab one and down it in celebration. Cheers!

Smart ass.

Actually, I'm just jealous 'cuz ya beat me to it.

On another note: what, no Phillipses?

Yeah, I found it the other day. I can't stand much alcohol besides vodka, and it sounded interesting. Not a bad taste, and no one else in the house wants them, so it works out for me.

Raz and slackur, you guys were right, uhg, those screwdrivers were too much. They just don't sit right.

Shadow, hope kitty is doing good. If your screwdrivers were like mine, I bet kitty is having a pretty tough time this morning.

On another note: what, no Phillipses?

Pfffft! Only the good stuff here.

Every self-respecting cocktail fan would make his own cocktails. Or have them made by someone else who knows what to do. Those pre-mixed drinks for the lazy really aren't the real thing.

As a man who holds a Mixology Certificate and yet has very little interest in drinking, I concur.  And yet, I do enjoy the occasional Smirnoff Ice or Mike's Hard Lemon/Lime Aid.  With an actual bartender, a decent Mai Tai, or even a good Rum and Coke, can still be tough to come by.

*SIGH*

Well, this is turning out to be another "judgment day" bust.

No mass plagues or pestilence.

No seas turning blood red.

No weeping or gnashing of teeth.

Not even so much as a stubbed toe.

The Mayans were trollin' us from beyond the grave, apparently.

Worst end of the world ever.

As opposed to... ?

UPDATE: I've already got a couple selected libations and a certain game I'll be playing to celebrate this great day of eschatological proportions.

And if we're still here this time next week, I'll tell y'all about it.
