I'm nearing the end of my 32x collection (Hopefully I'll be done with it by March) and I'm not sure which I should collect for next.  I keep jumping between the options I've listed above but I can't come to a decision.

So I've decided to let you guys chose for me.  However the board choses I will run with it.

Dreamcast. You can still get a lot of those in good quality (even sealed) for very low prices. And it's a cool system.

I seriously need to steal back my mum's dreamcast. It'd be nice if all the games she had weren't burned, but I"m not going to argue with a bajillion games.

I usually do buy for multiple systems, but I always try to concentrate on one system in particular.

You voted for the Master System yourself. You do have a preference?

It all depends on why you collect? Cheap? Easy to find? Sweet to play? Small library?

Odyssey 2 is cheap and easy. Only 1 game cost a lot. SMS is fun to hunt down but can be hard because yuo might get Euro games instead of the US released games.

Don't do Sega CD because thats what I am collecting for next. Tongue

I need 3 more SMS games and 1 more O2 game to be done with both systems US released library's/ All the games are CIB as well  |D

Atari 7800 I have thought about because it is a cheap small library and most of the titles are easy to find.

I said DC.
For all the reasons listed plus it is a fun system.
I think over all DC will be the easiest system to go for next. Good luck with Sonic Adventure Limited Edition though.

I like that 3 out of the 6 systems were Sega BTW |D

I'm working on 7800 myself but mainly cause it's the second console I owned and I love the games. I'd say go with the smaller libraries first just to get them out of the way and then start working on the bigger stuff.

i voted for Dreamcast because I don't want you collecting for Odyssey 2 until I finish my collection (less competition for me,  Smiley )

@Arrr  I voted just so I could see the poll results.  Of course I was going to take off my own vote when it came down to it

@Tynstar  Right now I am just looking for systems that have realitivly small libraries and most of the games are easy enough to find for cheap.

I voted for Dreamcast as well, because it's just a really great system.  The library has very few total stinkers, and a LOT of really great games that too few people know about.  And as Mark said, it is still possible to get a lot of Dreamcast games for cheap, even sealed.  Most of those other systems probably won't see much of a change in prices or availability, but Dreamcast availability is changing very quickly (and already has a lot).  Besides, nobody who collects Odyssey^2 or Arcadia actually likes those games.  At least have fun with the games themselves too.  I think DC is your best bet in that respect.

For small and easy library then go with the 7800 or the O2. If you go with the O2 just don't out bid tholly on anything that we needs.

I have an extra boxed modded O2 system if you need one.
