someone sent this link to a friend and he sent it to me. does anyone know if this is an official accessory? i've never heard of this before and couldn't find much on a quick google search.

edit: also don't know if it's an actual accessory or if it's just photoshopped in.

It looks too ridiculous to be real, but after poking around the internets for a little while it seems to be legit, although never officially released

Yeah, definitely real, I have an old issue of Nintendo Power that featured it.  Don't know if it was released here in the U.S. or anywhere though.
