A man is selling all his games and consoles collected over the past 30 years.  He says he has over 6800 games and 330 systems.  All my friends were shocked at how many games there were, but we have people with bigger collections right here on the site.  Hell you can't even be in the top 10 here without over 5000 games!  I don't think he's going to get his asking price of $550,000 but he has included hundreds of pictures to show what the winner would get.

You've got a situation where he's trying to sell a large lot of stuff to a collecting market that really relishes the thrill of the hunt, not many people just buy a game-room full of stuff because it would be impersonal without all the stories various pieces could have behind them if you found them yourself.

Are you kidding me. If i had that much disposable income i would go through his entire list and price it out and start reselling for profit.

Like 99% of the time someone loses money selling in bulk.

I usually sell in bulk at lower prices just to move stuff, so the above statements are very true.

Looking for CIB NES games..........even Silent Service.
I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

Agreed selling in Bulk like by system & games would probably do him more good than trying to sell and ship everything all at once.  But I guess if you have 550,000 to blow you could afford a U-Haul to pick up the stuff and bring it back with you and make many stops at many nice hotels along the way.

I get a huge rush out of buying random boxes of games and then going through them to discover what I got.  Of course, those are usually $20 boxes from garage sales and flea markets, not half a million dollars + boxes.

I'm dubious about the authenticity of this auction...

It is located in Italy.  I'd need one hell of a U-Haul trailer to bring that back home.
