Looking at the votes it sure was a good battle between the possible games. I must admit that I was worried for a little while that Dark Souls would be the winner. If it had won I still would have played it, but I'm intimidated by its reputation has a very hard game.

This should be another fun community playthrough. Will we be chatting over Skype or some kind of chat room this time around?

i went out game shopping on 5 hours sleep and ended up getting darksiders thinking for some reason that was the one we were playing LOL. i was thinking dark something, and forgot that batman had won out. oh well, i've heard good things about darksiders so i'll hold onto that and get batman next paycheck.

Well, Batman does strike at night so you weren't too far off in your thinking.

Its been a while since I've played, but if I remember correctly there should be some pretty decent spots to set as checkpoints after beating specific villains. And the nice thing is that for those of us that may want to keep playing the game, but not slam way ahead of the rest of the pack they can play the challenge mode content to scratch that itch.

The Wii U doesn't have Arkham Asylum.  It has a port of Arkham City.

Arkham Asylum was the first one, not the 2nd. Wii U wasn't out then. There's a cheap version on PC if all else fails.

I can't wait!  I looked into picking up the Japanese version of the game so I could get another platinum, but I don't want to spend ~$40 on it.
